Leupold 8-25 x 50 LRT or Premier 14.5 x 35

Now shooting a 6.5-20 40MM EFR Leupold at 1k. The 1/4 min dot
is a little big on the white aiming point. Will buy either the
8.5-25 Leupold LRT or the Premier 14.5-35 x 40MM. This is the
6.5-20 x 40MM EFR Leupold boosted. Will get a dot that leaves
ample white around the dot,maybe 3/16 Min.)
What do you 1k guys think. Anybody own this scope?

Jerry -- last time i checked, Premier was only taking in the LRT scopes to boost

you may be better off selling your EFR un altered, and buying an already boosted 20-50x from premier.

have things changed?

The 14.4 x 35 is offered for sale for $768 on Premier's website
as a standard offering. They want about $260 to boost mine. Don't want to take my scope off now. Three weeks to get it boosted. Need another scope anyway for a planned 6XC project.
Real question is whether the higher power in a 1" tube with
40MM objective will work O.K. Would most likely use the scope at 25 power anyway. Just need a little more white around my 'dot' to improve aiming.

resale will be a beech with the 1" tube though :,

i think the 50x is under 1000$
