Leupold #4 reticle

Hi,

I am looking for feedback from anyone who has had Leupold change their reticle to their german #4. I am a big fan of the #4.. I have it in a kahles variable and s&b fixed 6x.

I have a vx3i 2.5-8 that has a duplex that I would like to change, but the photos of the #4 in their catalogue dont look as good as the a7 or a4 s&b.

I will appreciate hearing your experiences with the leupold #4

Thanks

I had one for a short time. Sent them a 3-9, they said it was unrepairable and they said they'd send me a new one. I asked if it could have the #4 as I'm a big fan and there weren't any more attractive options back then. I liked it, but sold it off as I prefer a little more mag on my hunting rifles. Nothing wrong with their #4.

I had a European Leupold with the German #4 reticle. I also had it in a couple of Weaver Extreme 8-32x scopes... it's a very nice hunting reticle. Either scope model's #4 reticles were plenty thick enough for low-light conditions.

I didn't get a chance to hunt with it, but I wasn't concerned with it being too thin. Unlike some models of Swaro's #4....
