Leupold 24x Scope Sunshade

What is available for a sunshade for an older 24x model Leupold scope that was made in 1987? I have been told by Leupold nothing is available from them. Any solutions?

Look in the classifieds under Optics for Garrett Coleman Mirage Tubes. He might offer something for the older Leupolds. Thinking you could paint the OD since I believe they are a translucent tube material.
