To show off ShootDots National Record holding F/Open rifle, I'm sure the barrel has changed, but the man remains the same......

I think it was or is chambered in 6.5x47.....

He is smiling cause he went away with a NR and a pocket full of CA$H that day!

Hey Mike! That was a GREAT week up there with y'all. Shooting, fishing and visiting.. I had a blast. That rifle now is a 6 Dasher with a Bartlein 30" 1-7.5 twist. That scope on there is a Sightron 10-50 that now belongs to Vince (Smoking-Brass on here).. It now sports a NightForce 12-42BR with an NP-2DD reticle. Not my fav, but it works.. That action was a trued up Rem>>>it is now a Pierce S/A..

Hey KT! I must admit, I never used to like "wild coloring" on ANYTHING... But in the last couple of years, I have changed my tune. Your "Wild Blue" rifle looks AWESOME! I will admit, I am a bit envious of something that nice looking! Great job!!

Thanks Ben
I can't really take credit though. I supplied the parts to Accurate Ordnance and told them to do what ever they wanted. I will admit it's pretty weird to see 3 extra blue barrels sitting in the safe. LOL

KT

KT, I believe they actually give you a slight edge. How so? Well, it is human nature to be intimidated by something we perceive to be better than what we have, whether it is or not! That little psychological "edge" could give you exactly what you need to win during a very close match. That rifle's looks will be etched in the competitors mind while he is shooting! That MAY cause him to second guess his hold or whatever>>>So what! Just as long as it gives you an edge!

Hey Bryan! That looks like a 1000 yard rig that should net you a win or 2 at nationals this fall! Excellent rifle!

i'll be happy to get in the high range of master scores.

if i somehow pull a highmaster score, i think i'll drive home with the biggest grin on my face the whole 10-12 hours back home.

Just remember, it is NOT a horse race. The fastest finisher does not a winner make! Take your time, R-E-A-D the w-i-n-d and make calculated shots. You will do well my friend!
