Finally getting around to tuning up my new 300 WSM. I put it together to replace my 280ai I sold. I like to have one hunting rifle thats a little lighter to carry. This ones 7.3 pounds bare. Not ultra light but just right for a 300 wsm in my opinion. I used a Defiance ga hunter and a manners uc plus stock. The barrel is a Bartlien #3. I am tuning it at 600 yards from a Harris bipod. So far so good. The ADG brass is excellent.

I’ve got a UC Plus coming to take part in a rebuild of one of the rifles my grandad bought me. It’s nice to see one on a finished rig.

I like it. 19-20 oz. Sporter stocks carry so nice and obviously they shoot. The vertical grip tactical type stocks are real popular but I dont grip the stock so it doesnt matter to me.

I love the little 20 VarTarg and the Rem 788 platform. The 3rd pic is of a PD hole where I had made a head shot ( only his eyes and the top of his head was visible ) so I had to walk to his hole to verify the kill. I decided not to share the pic down into the hole. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share.

Remington 700 6mmBr. First foray into pre fits and nuts. Barreled action arrived Thursday.

Had to dig deep through my accumulated bits and pieces to put it whole. HS BDL stock I’ve had for several years, opened up the channel a bit to free float. BDL floor plate I got recently. Pulled a Walker trigger out of an old 270. Rooted around for a base and found a 20 MOA, and found some 1 inch Warne rings (I think). I’m out of 30mm rings so I figured the Leupold 6x was the ticket.

Had Lapua brass. Actually have a couple pounds of Varget. Some Winchester white box SRP. Gonna miss them when they are gone…. Blue Collar Reloading delivered a sleeve of Sierra 100gr TGKs last week.

Shot it yesterday and overlapped the last charge and moved forward just a bit more. Shot it today, and think I’ve found a stopping point.

Just walked in from a quick final group on a 22br wrapped up last week with 24" Brux. Berger 75 vld ocw winner cruising at 3154 avg fps @ 100 yds. Slight adjustment on windage post sighter and the rest were in there. After many seasons with gas guns, I see a thermal sight on this thing in the near future.

Ledd Slinger - I like your antler getter! Looks like one of the best uses of a MT Bike that I have ever seen.
Oh, and not a good pic, but I got a 22-250 AI built on a Rem 700 with Krieger 1 in 8 bbl, Vais muzzle brake, Jewell trigger. Used a load with 80 gr SMK. Worked on Dogs and Chucks.
