Let's see some 2017 Match Schedules

In the deep south, my buddies and I prefer shooting matches in the cooler months, so this time of year, we start our planning and wondering what will be available in Jan-Mar from TX to GA. Kudos to Palo Alto and Bayou for already having their Jan 2017 calendars posted! (But we are wondering if Bayou is really hosting a 1000 yard match on New Year's Day. It would be an awesome way to start the year, but disappointing to show up if it is not happening.)

From what I can tell, early 2017 schedules at GTGC, Palo Alto, Bayou Rifles, Pascagoula, MidSouth, Bar 3 Range, River Bend, Talladega, Chattanooga, Oak Ridge, Central Alabama, Blue and Gray, PCGC, and Reese are still works in progress. The earlier y'all get the schedules posted on your web sites, the sooner we can start making plans to be there. We appreciate all the hard work done by the facilities and match directors to host F-Class and high-power events (and other precision rifle events).

Posting a link in the competition forum here that some 2017 schedule info is available will also help folks find it in a timely manner. It's OK with me if some of the early matches are unapproved or approval pending. I'm just hoping not to have to wait until April to attend some matches. Preliminary info is good too, so we can keep dates clear. Thanks!

Great to see info on such a quality match available so early. Early info always makes planning easier. This one is a bit off our beaten path, but with time to clear the schedule, we'll start discussing it.

Any other matches out there with 2017 schedules available yet?

I got a 50 50 change of making this one. Work seems to get busy that time of year. But if I can make it, this will be a good one. I've done the palma match, and the Fullbore match but never both. Looks like this year I have to. Really hoping to attend!!!

Thanks for confirming. Hope to make it to a few matches this year. We appreciate all you guys do for shooting in the south.
 
How about listing the city & state for these schedules, or at least a zip code where the range is.

central alabama gun clubs are the forth saturday in feb.,may,july, and 2nd saturday in oct. with a team match between us a backwoods shooters in april . at the last match of the year at reese bottom Mr Wynne said he was not sure if he was going to start up in feb. or march i told him i'll email him in late January because like you i like to plan my attack for the year early.
 
Minnesota has dates set for 2017 in both MR & LR distances F-class events:
* Wind clinic & Dan Whalen Memorial Match - ERSC 4/29 & 4/30
* LR Fullbore match - GRRC (Harris) May 5-7
* LR State & Palma - GRRC 6/3 & 6/4
* LR Regional - GRRC 6/30 - 7/2
* MR Midwest Championship - ERSC 7/15 & 7/16
* MR Regional Championship - Northstar (Redwing) 7/29 & 7/30
* MR State Championship - ERSC 8/19 & 8/20

Hope to see all the usual suspects from the surrounding states and new faces that want to test their skills with some really good shooters!
