Leopold vs trijicon decision

Would appreciate some advice on the comparison between the trijicon credo 2.5-10x56 and the Leupold VX3 HD 3.5-10x50. The local sporting goods store has the trijicon for $699 and the Leupold is $599. $700 is my max budget, so trying to get the best scope possible for that price. Have a little experience with the Leupold (own a freedom) but I have none with the trijicon. No way to compare the two. Will be using the scope on a 308 for deer hunting purposes. Shots between 100 to 300 yards. Low light performance will be very important. I'm leaning towards the trijicon, but love to hear from people with more experience with these scopes. Thanks!

Had a Trijicon ten mile 5x50x56 loved it very bright scope, when it's late and light is neal mine was like it was still daylight, built like a tank, a few people are turning to the trijicon, F class John on youtube does a Trijicon 5x50 review, and of course the 2.5x10 will be exceptionally clear because of the lower power, but every eye is different

Would love to look through one. All I’ve seen at the sporting good store here was the Fullfield IV and one RT-25.

What these guys said ^^^^
You can do better for your money. I have been disappointed with Leupold for some time and I don't know that model Trijicon. I did had one some time ago - and it was excellent, but a narrow field of view, However, they are made in various places and I'm sure that the Ten Mile comes from a better source than the one you are looking at. Burris is always worth a look. I have a couple of theirs - one XTR2 and one 6.5x20, both perform well. Tract are getting good press.

I’m not trying to sell you on the Leupold by any means, but I recently got a Vx3HD 3.5-10x40. I looked at Trijicon and others, but I needed a longer tube for mounting on a long action. The Leupold tracks perfectly and the glass is very nice. You have many more options to chose from, but the Leupold might be perfectly adequate.

Look around on ebay for a Trijicon 2.5-10x56 accupoint. They run around 600 to 700 with an illuminated dot.
No battery required, tritium supplies the illumination.
