Ditto, and I use my scopes as a rifle carrying handle also.

Ditto for me on this also. My first concern for any rifle I hunt with is that the scope placement is good for eye position. But I also love having the scope for a carry option. I don't like long, one piece picatinny rails, and have sometimes even cut out the portion over the loading port to allow easier loading and carrying. jd
