Length and purpose

Im sorry if this has been covered. In a world where money and simplicity may or not be the same thing. I see general simplicity as Important. Concerning an ar barrel length and purpose. If you where to chose one ar setup to be the one you Pulled out of the safe at any given time for any given purpose. What would it be?

16" 223 w/1.5-6x42mm scope, I'm not a big AR fan, I find then awkward and noisy, I won this one with a 20" 20 P barrel on it, it was even more awkward, so added the 16" upper. It is usually the last one to come out of the safe for anything.
