Has anyone tried this unit with the ballistic program?

I received on about a month ago. The range finder is clear and above acverage. The Balistics program consist of 24 pre-programed bullet drop programs. 12 for 100 yard sightins and 12 for 200yd sightins. You pick the one that most reflects your guns performance. It then computes the rest of the trajectory based on the ambient conditions. It only works out to 500 yards. I was quite disapointed as I thought it would work to 1600 yards. It only ranges to 1600yds it does not compute your bullet drop further than 500 yards.
