Left the range: Tony Robertson AKA TonyR

Erik Cortina

Team Lapua Brux Borden Captain
I was informed that our friend Tony Robertson passed away last night. He will be missed.

As I understand, there will be no services and the family will remember Tony in their own way at the proper time.

a true gentleman and ambassador to our sport. his presence on the range will be missed. prayers to the family, may your soul rest easy now Tony
tears,
Doc

Tony was a good man and a true gentleman. Erik and I shot with Tony, Jay Cutright and Don Nagel coaching, to take team second at the 2012 Berger. Tony loved to compete and win but always provided an example of real sportsmanship. Goodbye, Tony, we'll miss you.

I enjoyed talking to Tony over the phone and on the forum. Very knowledgeable and always willing to help out with good info. A passionate shooter and forum friend. May you Rest In Peace Tony.

I'm very sorry to hear of this. I met Tony when the US FTR team came to Scotland in 2011, and we became friends. A lovely guy. (Yes, I know he was a US Open team member, but he accompanied the FTR people on this occasion after FTR+Open competed in the revived Creedmoor matches in Ireland. After taking part in the Scottish RA Long-Range meeting at Blair Atholl in the Scottish Highlands, he stayed on in the country for a week or so to research his ancestors who were from the Perthshire region of the country - successfully, he later emailed me.)

Sorry to hear this news, it is a shock. Tony was a good guy - and a long-distance member of the West Atholl club here in Scotland.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of tony . A gentleman and a pleasure to talk with about shooting and always willing to help a fellow shooter .
He will be missed , my prayers go out to his family and friends.

We lost a good man and a truly great ambassador to the sport.

He spent a good deal of time helping me get squared away several years ago.

He will be missed by many. He is already missed by me.

Only had a couple times in person but saw quickly on here that he was a man to listen to. I'm very saddened by this news

OMG! Such sad news and what a loss to our sport and shooters across the US. God Bless Tony and know we are all better because of knowing you and your contributions and assistance to all.

Alex

Tony was friend, a fellow team mate and an all around nice guy - plus a hell of a shooter!

It is very sad that he will be with us no more. He was generous in sharing knowledge, with his PHD in reloading and he will certainly be missed by all those that knew him. He participated in many different team matches and won many gold medals for whatever team he was shooting with. When he was shooting next to me I never worried about his performance - he was THE X MAN!

Tony adopted the Bridgeville Rifle and Pistol Club F/Class shooters, and made all of us much better shooters because of it. He was a walking encyclopedia on shooting and reloading. When Tony talked, I listened. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Shoot em good Buddy........
