Left the Range / John G. Homatas

To everyone that replied to the above thread… I thank you all again!

It’s with a heavy heart though that I say, John passed away this morning around 9 a.m. His daughter Roberta called me to give me the sad news. From his injuries from the car accident, the infection he got etc… his heart was in a weakened state and he couldn’t pull thru and his heart gave out. He pretty much had been in hospital or medical care since the accident back in January.

Only one time since the accident was I able to talk to him but I never thought it would come to this and that I would never talk to him or see him ever again.

I’ll miss our conversations from anything from family to politics or reloading and shooting or the weather outside.

Best wishes my friend and until we can see each other again on the shooting line… safe travels!

Sorry for your lost friend. John was a good guy. Someday we will all read the wind with perfection and always break perfect shots.

Rest in peace ol' buddy
One of the best shooting buddies a guy could ask for John was
Smart, talented and had a wicked sense of humor
I’m honored to call him my long time friend
I know he’s turning up a new Bartlein barrel for the big match!
Until we get to shoot together again
Prayers sent for your family
