Left Hand Rem 700, G series, with Savage bolt head. I picked this up a while back and haven't done anything with it yet, cleaning off the bench. Coating is good, action is pretty slick, trigger is very nice, 1.25lbs on my gauge. Bottom bolt release works well.

$580 shipped Conus, add $30 if your FFL requires shipping from FFL only. Paypal preferred.

that is a nice setup . i often thought about converting some here in the shop . this just might inspire me to do so . good luck with the sale .

As long as the breech face of the barrel is set for the Savage bolt head, I believe you can, yes.

Not familiar with the conversion. Can I put a different size Savage bolt head on it without performing machine work on the one I want to install? If machine work is necessary, what is required to be done?
Thanks

I don't have any extra Savage bolt heads to try, I will see if I can take this one off tomorrow. Don't see why not.

Thanks, I was thinking that a Savage bolt head might need to be altered to accommodate the 700 firing pin diameter wise and to provide a firing pin stop in the right place.
