Left Hand 22lr Tactical Trainer

I'm not finding what I want and need some help. I am looking to purchase (or at this point it looks more likely to be a build) a left handed heavy barrel 22lr to match up with my tactical style varmint rifles (Rem 700 with Manners T2A). I would like something decently accurate without having to go full blown custom (but that might be my only option). The CZ 455 Tactical Trainer is attractive, but only comes in RH. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

CZ 452 lefty, and get a manners for it. I'm running a 452 in a Manners T4. I'm thinking about spinning up a green mountain barrel for it as soon as I can get some time on the CNC lathe. I thought Gander mountain had the 452 American in stock. I need to re work the bolt handle on it to match the Mausingfield

A lefty 452 is really your only good option, however you'll spend some money swapping the barrel out for a heavier barrel with no guarantee of better accuracy. A cost effective stock option is a Boyd's Pro Varmint...I have one on a lefty CZ 527 and for a bit more than a hundred bucks, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat it for the price.

Bobcat have you looked at the Savage left hand rifles? I have a BRVLSS that shoots very well. Mine is still in the factory thumb hole stock, I did add an Apachee trigger kit and a heavy bottom metal.

The Boyds Varmint pro would be a very close stock. I have T4's on most everything and a couple Boyds Varmint Pros. The VP has a smaller grip than the T4. I thought I have heard someone say the grip is very similar to the T2.

Hopefully my scope for the 452 will make it here this week so I can go have some fun with it.

Yeah no kidding! Call CZ and tell them you want one! They told me there is not enough interest for them.

...at some point in time, most manufacturers will learn that it does not cost much at all to have the foresight to plan and tool appropriately for left and right handed bolt actions with designs that are nearly interchangeable. In the short term, I wish I knew a smith that had a good reputation for replacing 452 American barrels with a quality heavy contoured barrel at a bargain price 😎
