Lee fcd on different caliber

Looking at a 358 yeti build, it's a shorten 308 case necked down to take a 358 bullet. Looking to save some money where I can. Is it possible to get away with using a 35 rem or 358 win Lee fcd to crimp brass?

Hey there,

New guy to the forum, but I've tried things like this before.. best bet is to find a same size caliber, similar in case length. A quick search showed the 357 Max to be about 0.040" shorter, and Lee makes a crimp die that is adjustable for 38-357 Max. I'd start there for a little investment and see if that will work..

You may need the Redding adjustable shell holder set to help fine tune. Good luck.
