Lee bullet mold

I just received a 6 cavity mold from Lee in 452 diameter for my acp.
On the second pour, the mold block alignment pins fell out. Complete piece of junk!! Has anyone else had issues with this mold or did I just get a lemon?

Call them up and talk to them first. They are pretty good in the customer service dept. May get lucky. I use a couple of there round ball and slug molds. They work but I had to modify them. I would not use them if I had a bunch of anything to mold. Matt

I have a bunch of their molds with no problems.I found one trick is to let them cool a bit longer as they are aluminum.I also use spray mold release.

They work well. I am in the process of warranty for my 480 ruger mould that doesn't throw round bullets. They have always made it right. As said before if you are going to be using it all the time I would invest in a lyman and cry once. I just don't want to pay 175 plus for a .476 dia mould, so I will still play with lee products.

RCBS makes a quality bullet mold, as does the before mentioned Lyman. When I was casting lead pistol bullets ( 45 auto) I used all Hensly & Gibbs, 4 and 6 cavity. Unfortunately they are out of business now.
