I won a Lederer barrel certificate for a 6mm or 30 cal barrel at the 2019 Hawks Ridge thousand yard national in September. I called James up in September and told him that I had won the barrel certificate and since he was nice enough to donate it I would get another barrel and pay for it also. In May of this year I called James up to see when he thought the barrels might be done since I was needing a barrel. He told me he would have my barrels done and shipped within 2 weeks. I never got the barrels so the first of August I called him again and he told me this time he would have my barrels in a week and a half to two weeks. It's almost October now and I still have not got the two barrels. James seems like a nice guy talking to him and probably makes a good barrel but customer service is non-existing. I feel the same as the posters above I'm done. And if he sent the barrels I would ship them back to him. Lots of other good barrel companies out there.
So that's why my build I commissioned almost 2 years ago hasn't been finished... It has to be since I shipped the stock, the trigger, the action, the mounts, and the rings to the smith, and only thing missing was the Lederer barrel. (At least that what I want to believe).

Well that's understandable but if u tell some one 2 weeks, 2 weeks, 2 weeks and it's months later and nothing ever shows.... Quit telling people 2 weeks and quit taking orders u know u can't fill. It's that easy. He needs an ego check and humble himself and quit promising something he can't deliver. He was a nice guy. Remember, he is pretty much a one man show.
Ex-f-ing-actly!!!!!I don't have a dog in this fight and I have heard nothing but good things about Lederer barrels but this situation reminds me of an old saying- "A promise made with no means or intention to keep is just a lie".
Guys, Michael Turner is Lederer's agent. Michael has always handled my orders. michael@crankbalancer.com I met James at the Super Shoot several years ago when he was still at Rock Creek. He was a nice guy. Remember, he is pretty much a one man show. Sounds if he needs a full time front man.
James is a great guy and he makes phenomenal barrels. I’ve shot 4 600 yard records with them and won 600 yard Shooter of the Year twice so I’ll wait.
