LED lighting?

I’m also going to change out my lights in my reloading room also. I currently have (2) 4’ double flouresnt bulbs. Going to investigate just buying 4’ LED bulbs and keep the fixtures.
Or I might just buy Harbor Frieght double LED fixtures.
Check these out from Amazon. I use them in my loading room as well as three more sets in my garage/barn.

(6 Pack) Barrina LED T5 Integrated Single Fixture, 4FT, 2200lm, 6500K (Super Bright White), 20W, Utility LED Shop Light, Ceiling and Under Cabinet Light, Corded Electric with ON/OFF Switch, ETL Listed

I would be interested to hear which direction you go.

I got fed up with my fluorescent fixtures giving me trouble and put up LEDs. I should have done it sooner.

I've converted quite a few old 8' fixtures to LED, I assume the 4' would be the same. It takes a little rewiring. The LEDs are direct wire meaning they don't use the ballast.

I've converted 8', 4' and 2' fluorescent fixtures to LED. As said above, you buy the direct wire replacement bulbs with same connections your existing fixture has. All the ones that I have done have had the 2 pins on each end of bulb. You cut wires right up against ballast, throw ballast away, connect all wires on one end and wire to neutral, connect all the wires going to other end and wire to hot.

Converted my basement fixtures that had 4' tubes to LED tubes (removed ballasts) when they first came out. Expensive but they are brighter- BUT they caused serious AM radio interference, so I question that they won't affect scales. Bought 4' units this year (complete fixtures) for my reloading room from ACE hardware and they do not cause AM interference.

2 of mine are only a few feet away from A&D FX-120i and 2 RCBS Charge Masters (haven't been turned on in 3 years) and no problems but then I never had issues with fluorescent either.
