I have been good with keeping copper out of my barrels and don't have any real problems with copper in any of them. I have noticed with my borescope that I have been neglecting carbon in the first few inches of the bore. I don't mind using Iosso occasionally to remove the hard carbon, but didn't want to use it all the time as my barrels take a long time to settle in after an Iosso clean.
I have slip 2000 and Boretech C4 carbon remover at home and will be trying these first for a general duty carbon remover. I noticed the instructions on the Boretech C4 bottle say to leave it in the bore before storing it after shooting. I have been told not to leave Boretech eliminator in the bore for long, but how about with the C4 carbon remover?
I store my barrels with Butches in the bore, but was thinking of storing them with Boretech C4 instead, does anyone see any problems with this?
