In the process of buying a 6x47 Lapua and trying to sort out dies for the rifle.
Would like to continue using a LE Wilson Chamber Type Bullet Seater die. I assume the diameter of the seating stem of 6.5mm and 6mm as well as the die hole which these travel through differ? Trying to gauge potential challenges in using a 6.5x47 Seater and what would happen if I replace the 6.5 seating stem with a 6mm seating stem. Suppose using the 6.5x47 as is will result in more bullet runout and could potentially run to challenges with the 6.5mm stem and 6mm bullets.
I'm currently using a Whidden expander ball kit in my 22-250 Redding bushing die with one of Whidden's Decapping Assemblies. Will I require a decapping assembly for a Redding Bushing 6x47 Neck Bushing die and Forster FL die that is included in the sale? My understanding is that the expander ball kits are compatible with Redding decapping assemblies (6mm and larger), but not sure about the Forster.
Thank you.
