Lathe brand? Any ideas what it is?

I recently picked up this lathe a neighbor had out on the street for free. Does anyone have any idea as to what brand it may be? Was trying to do some research on it but cant find anything.

There are no markings on it, no plates.. only label at all is a decal ontop of the motor. It measured 6x14 and does not thread. Runs on 110v

Harbor freight!

I believe it is missing the milling head. I don't remember who made it, but there was a combination mill/lathe of that design. You removed the toolpost and mounted a vise or your workpiece on the the x-y.
Look up Grizzly combination mill/lathe

Possibly a Smitty minus the mill head and column.

The frame Casting and gearbox / gear cover appears tobe an early model Smithy combo machine. The larger hole above the spindle/chuck is where the mill post would have been attached. As converted, it probably makes for a very capable small lathe. As combo machines they can leave a little to be desired as far as milling capabilities.
