Last Match Of The Year, Delphos Oh

Well it was a great day weather wise, 5mph wind, upper 50's, low mirage, and lots of sun! Had a good turnout and great folks to shoot with. for the last match of the year it was 2 targets @100 yards IBS score, and two Targets @ 200 yards IBS score, for the final match of 2023. This is one of my favorite places to shoot, and some of the best folks to shoot with.

Not to mention it's not just a Great Bunch of people that compete, But a great crew that makes it all happen!! From the target crew, to the folks behind the scenes scoring, cooking, and managing the match, a big thanks to all, and hope your all willing to support us again next year!

I would like to reach out to all that enjoy great company, and great competition to make plans to join us next year, the first Sunday of the month starting in April, for a great day of shooting, food, and comradery!! I'm pretty sure if you do, you wont regret it and will join this group of shooters, even be back for other matches, rimfire, handgun and a good bunch of folks no matter what your shooting preference!!

The bottom picture is an extremely rare one....... almost time to shoot the first relay and the flags are hanging straight down for the most part.

Definitely a great group of shooters and venue to shoot at. The folks that put the match on are what make it. WD

It is a great place to shoot with a lot of competetion from 3 states. The range is challenging with not to many "trigger pulling contests". Pat Kennedy has been very successful at running the matches and growing the attendance. My thanks goes out to the people who do all of the scoring and cooking.

I also think that some recognition goes to Fred Moreo of Sharp Shooters Supply in Delphos for creating the two beautiful SOY award ammo boxes. Fred did some fantastic walnut wood work and his son Chip Moreo did the great lazer engraving. Again thanks to Rich Edington and others for scoring.
