Larger than MOA groups. What would you check first?

I'd really appreciate it if you'll post some results once your scope returns and you've test fired to establish a baseline.

As has been mentioned repeatedly, gotta start somewhere and change only 1 thing at a time.
183 replies on how to fix it and he hasn't got the damaged scope back yet.

First target 1 MOA with vertical dispersion. Looks like it didn’t like that powder charge, from what I’ve read anyway. Will post more later. I’ve got a string of charges to test so we’ll see. I’ll take 3 in one hole though. That’s cool with me for now.

Is this with replaced scope?
This started out with minimal information and now its almost become too confusing.

This is with the scope back from repair. Attached is a powder charge tier I just shot. It’s crazy how different they all are.

For reference the ten ring is 1”.

Crazy was your post # 60 target
This looks like the scope was the problem
Now you’re facing getting groups smaller the same as everyone.

good I'm glad it was just the scope...happy days
I had some groups open way up after this, but they were heavier bullets. Completely different load and the barrel was on the very warm side. I was waiting for it to cool between groups. They said the didn’t do anything to the scope, but after the range today I really question that.

Check overall case length and trim as necessary, try Berger bullets, run a mandrel down into a full-length sized case that's .002" smaller than the bullet diameter, check where the bullet ogive is in relation to the lands, try one of these at a time! When all else fails let someone of known ability shoot your rifle!
