Large Pistol Magnum Primers in .45 ACP

Curious if anyone has ever had negative (or positive) experiences with using Magnum Large Pistol primers for .45 ACP?

Using with powders: Titegroup, Blue Dot, 800X, & HS-6
Bullet weight: 185 & 200

I didn't see any difference, but I shoot a min load of 4.2gr of Bullseye. Max load might not be so forgiving.

Ditto, except I use 4.2 Clays. Made no difference using LP magnum primers.

I've always used magnum primers with hs-6 cleaner burn, your other powders I would drop .2 from top loads, I'm down to using magnum in all my hand gun loads, you will be fine.

FWIW I have been forced to resort to Rem. 6 1/2 primers for my 9mm loads and all I did was drop the load by .3 grains. Works well with HS-6, 231, Sihlouette (best).

I’ve ran them with good success with 200 hard cast, and even 255 hard cast usually load Bullets in the lighter bullet and unique with the big bullets
