I have a LAR Grizzly Mk V 50AE with the 44 magnum conversion kit. I am considering of having the 44 magnum barrel reamed to 429DE. The reasoning is in order to switch from 50AE to 429DE all I have to do is switch barrels. I don't have to switch extractors, magazines or ejectors? I have read about the ballistics of the 429DE compared to 44 magnum, but it appears that the 44 magnum 240 grain loads that are used for comparisons are not full power loads(Underwood XTP 240 grain 1500fps is a full power load). The 429De reamers and gauges are available from Pacific Tool and Gauge. Firearm is for target practice at 100 meters plus only. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
