My new 6.5-284 will be ready soon, and I've purchased a quantity of Lapua brass that I'd like to begin to prep. I'm seeing comments from top shooters both in support of deburring/reaming the Lapua flash hole and leaving it alone. My OCD is tending toward the deburring/reaming camp, but I'm at a loss at to what tool will do the job with the least enlargement of the hole. Any advice? How about one designed for the 6PPC? Thanks!

There's nothing to deburr. I didn't quite believe the story that drilled flash holes don't leave burrs inside the case so I went about examining them for myself. I used an otoscope,medical instrument for looking inside ears) since these provide good magnification and a coaxial light source, not to mention the fact that I own several for my work. You know, they are right - there are no burrs whatsoever in the inside of the flashholes of any of my Lapua brass. I've now proven this to my own satisfaction.
The otoscope is also a great way to examine the inside of cases for incipient case head separation because the stress line can clearly be seen on the inside of the cases using this method.
Reaming flashholes is something I have no experience with. Someone else will have to answer that one but IMHO, I can't see a lot to be gained there so I won't be doing it any time soon.

There is probably little to be gained from uniforming the flash holes and many shooters no longer do it for premium brass. However, it is one of those little things that takes only a few seconds and may correct that one flash hole in a million so I'm one shooter that still does it. On the premium brass that has drilled holes there probably won't be a burr but what you're really accomplishing is ensuring that the flash holes are a uniform diameter and that they are the same length. Tests have shown that flash hole length is important to uniform ignition. On the cheaper brass, removing the burr can't do any harm and just might, maybe, hopefully, make a possible improvement.

Dawg -- remember though, he is using Winchester brass 
On Lapua 6BR cases I sectioned, the flash-holes looked great, and I may debur/chamfer, but will never ream them.
reaming, also makes a rougher surface on the FH tunnel -- this gives it texture for drag and for carbon to build up on.
