Is Dasher in danger of being caught between 6GT and the 6BR variants?
Maybe I’m mentally stuck in the previous decades, but did the Dasher recently stop being a 6 BR variant?

You are correct. I was thinking more in case capacity.Maybe I’m mentally stuck in the previous decades, but did the Dasher recently stop being a 6 BR variant?

Also there is the 6BRX and 6BRDX in the family of the 6BR Norma. I have started working with the 6GT and I see it's potential for great accuracy and speed with heavier bullets. We have a lot of cases with “just a little more” and “just a little less” capacity, and most are enjoying plenty of attention - hell, after a quarter century shooting the dasher, I’m more prone to think that NOW is the most stable era of its entire life. No, it’s not a SAAMI standardized round, no, there isn’t a multitude of factory rifles available for it, but it’s easier today than any time in history to adopt a Dasher, and with less drama or no more than MOST of the rounds on this list (of course, missing several fun 6mm’s outside and in-between).
So maybe the GT is dangerously between the full length cases and the BRetheren, maybe the creed is dangerously between 243win and GT, eh, idk, I don’t think any of these are in danger.

Doesn't seem so long ago that 1,000 yard bench rest competion was dominated by boomers like Rogues, Boo-Boo, Weatherby's, Winchester Magnums and the like. The Dasher became the incarnation of the little engine that could. I remember a gunsmith who I still respect highly telling me I'd never get that 6 Dasher to hit anything at 1K.Indeed. Hence:
Naturally, no insult was intended to any of these cartridges by neglecting those many I did neglect to mention, among them BRDX, PPC, Grinch, Turbo40, 6mmAR, Hagar, CompMatch, SLR, PRC, x284, ‘06, Gibbs… and many others, outside and in between.
Nosler???Is the Nosler 6dasher any good
