Lapua Brass

Can somebody tell me what the differences between the Lapua gold box and blue box brass, thanks

one is like gold in the gold box if you have a chamber cut on the old brass

The 6br is the only one claimed different. Didnt need a different chamber but when you formed a dasher it blew out longer. No need in trying to seek any out especially in any other caliber. Dont pay extra for the box thats for sure
 
At a point in time many years ago Lapua was required to make a very slight change in the neck thickness of some of its brass so their loaded rounds would meet the European CIP standards. This thickness change was very slight but the older brass has a slightly, maybe .001 thicker neck. During this time frame Lapua also went from the cardboard to plastic container. The change in brass and the change in the box do not coincide but was reasonably close from what I've been told. Many myths abound concerning the old Gold Box. Some of them may be true.
