yes i clicked the search button first!i'm ready to order brass ,lapua,for 6br. i see mention of blue box,red box etc.i'll start with 300 cases but i don't want to buy brass that has been sorted and i get the rejects!i don't want necks trimmed.no BS help me.

The new stock comes in a blue plastic box. It is factory sealed with a label....you can readily see if it has been cut. The old stock came in a gold cardboard box which was sealed with a gold label. There was a change in the neck wall thickness around the time the blue plastic box was phased in......but I recall that the real early blue boxes still had the thicker necks. Best bet is to buy all 3 boxes from one of this sites advertisers.......as they most likely have long since got rid of old stock. Best bet is to ask for same lot # on all 3 boxes. Don't know about a red box.

I have bought lapua 6br brass from sinclair, midway and brunos. They were all in factory sealed 100rd blue boxes. the cool thing about blue boxes is that you can pop the frame out of the lid and it locks in the middle to make a 50 round loaded ammo box.

Also one box will outlast a barrel's life, may not be a need for 300.
