lapua brass

i dont know where i seen the post, but in this box of lapua brass that i got i have had a bunch of pieces dented and a few dented soo bad i cant use them. it was a box of 100 ea 6.5-284 is this common or what? first box i have ever bought of high end brass and all i have heard was good stuff. i hope this isnt the common finding

When you say dented so bad they can't be used then you must mean creased because a dent can be fixed, can you show a pic of the worse ones.

yes i meen creased the dented necks where more like colapsed necks i tried to run them through the fl die to size them but to where creased with a pocket formed in the shoulder and the others had about 1/8" gouge out of the top of the neck. couldnt even just trim it away

if you go to the link above the pic in the begining of the thread thats what i have going on on two cases the others have a discolored rough dent that forms a half circle verticly on the top of the neck

i got a pm from kevin this morning telling me what i needed to do to report the best info back to the finn's and provided some info and will get some replacement cases sent.
