Lapua 7.62x39 brass

Does the Lapua 7.62x39 brass use small rifle primers?? Any other brand use the small rifle primer??

What I had of it years ago was head stamped K - P and was large primer pocket. Only the Remington in my experience has a small primer pocket.

New manufacture is LR pockets. Still handles pressures well in my Savage Model 10.

I'm not aware of any that uses the small primer, now. The older Remington did, but is now LR.

I don't know if it is feasible but why couldn't you use 6ppc brass to form back into the Russian 7.62 cartridge,it (6ppc) came from that cartridge to begin with.
