lapua 6x47 brass

Does Lapua or did Lapua make 6X47 brass or do you need to buy 6.5X47 and neck it down? One person I talked to said it was made then others say you have to neck the 6.5 down. Just need to know what I need to buy in the line of brass to get started. Thanks

No, we've never offered 6x47 brass, at least , not as a regular commercial offering. If it has ever been available (and I don't think it has) then it was strictly experimental stuff that wasn't added to the line. Easy enough chore to neck down the standard 6.5x47 cases, so you're not really looking at any sort of problem in terms of brass supply.

Never messed with this one myself, but I've heard some pretty good things about it. I have a fast twist 6mm barrel sitting on the shelf right now, and that might be something I consider. Had been leaning towards a 6mm BR or Dasher, but as I said, I've heard some really good things about this one.

So many reamers . . . so little time!
