I mean, that's not a lot of math.

0.0082" + 0.0082" + 0.2435".....

They're probly intended for a 262 chamber.

1) The current measurement has no bearing on what the hypothetical loaded round's neck OD will measure, or compatibility of that round with a given chamber.

2) Almost certainly, he's saying they're turned to 8.2 thousandths, since that is fairly common vernacular in neck turning circles.

Thanks. I'll pass since mine is a 271 chamber neck and they don't really need turned.

The typical neck wall thickness for a chamber reamed with a 0.262" neck diameter is 0.0082" per Jack Neary, and me, as I have been turning cases for 0.262" necks on both 6PPC and 6BR for 30 years. This will give the preferred 0.0020" total clearance.

If you have a 6BR Norma chamber with a 0.262" neck diameter these are just the ticket. And $40shipped for 50 neck-turned Lapua brass is a good deal.
