Lapua 308 Win. Brass

glock Sir:
I don't think you will find much greater than about 1gr varience in the 100 lot, use em as is or sort to .7gr, mostly like 174 to 175gr.

Excellent brass. I went through a batch of 'em, trying to de-burr the flash holes. There weren't any burrs to be found on the vast majority of the cases I bought.

I noticed Lapua brass uses small rifle primers unlike others using large rifle primers. I use Hornady brass with Fed 210M primers. if I put the same powder charge and Fed 205 primers in the Lapua brass should i expect similar accuracy and velocity?

lapua large primer are also out there . i use small primers in my 308 it will shoot under 2" at 600 yds . the gun and brass are up to it but the shooter is not always on his game . brass is very good .

Lapua .308 Palma brass (SRP) is as good as anything else you will find out there. In my hands, the maximum weight variance (ES) for a given Lot# of Lapua Palma brass is ~1.5 gr. However, that includes a very small number of extreme outliers. Better than 95% of the cases from several different Lot #s have had weight variance of less than 1 gr.

^^^^^ ditto

I just got 100 to go with my 308 project.

I will take them to my shop tomorrow and weigh them on my Denver Electronics Scale (.01 grn resolution) and post the results.

Well, take a look at the numbers see for yourself what a range of weights can be. Here's a box of .308 Lapua brass I just weighted that I recently fire formed, which I've turned necks to .014, FL Sized and trimmed to a length of 2.006 and uniform primer pockets (so, dimensions are about as uniform as I can get them):

they also make large primer brass for 308

What's everybody's opinion on Lapua 308 Win. brass? How much do they vary in weight in a 100 piece lot?Any other info?
I use Lapua Palma (SRP) .308 brass.
I've found it to be excellent quality straight from the box.

It lasts, most of mine is now on its 15th load, with minimal trimming and no annealing.
Still delivers the results I want/need.

Buying quality generally pays.

I have 308 lapua in lrp and palma srp. When i load them same load, lrp with fed 210 and palms with fed 205 the lrp has a faster fps and is what my scope is set to. With the palma brass its slower fps and hits lower right on target. I own more lrp so i just stick to those.
