Lapua 223 rem brass

Is Lapua still producing 223 rem brass? I'm seeing people sell it for $150 a box in the classifieds and threads about people looking for it from last year and this year. I ended up waiting for almost 8 months to get my 6BR brass. I can't see myself doing that for 223 rem brass.

Thanks fellas

I believe it's still being made, my local supplier hasn't had any for a while but they haven't said it was discontinued. They make so many different cases now that they are most likely in between production runs. I see that the SRP 308 Palma brass is available again.

Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if a substantial portion of brass produced by Lapua is being diverted to military stockpiles in Europe. Here's hoping it's not needed.

Hello Kevin!
Very good news.... !
Our Lapua .223 Rem. Cartridges Cases will resume production next month and be available at your favorite Lapua retailer in late Feb. or March.
Thanks for your patience!

Been looking at getting some to try. Reading it doesn't have a lot of spring back. Maybe due to them not annealing it. Or maybe just Internet gossip. It's literally half the price from what I'm seeing and very tempting.
Starline not annealing their brass is 100% internet gossip that has been addressed by Starline in the past.

I have heard the same nonsense about other brass as well. A guy at the range was instructing someone on ADG brass. Told them not to get the ones that weren't annealed! ADG did/does sell polished and fresh from the annealer brass.

People seem to think brass hasn't been annealed because they don't see the discoloration you usually see on brass like Lake City.

I'm going to be doing a 6x45 by re-barreling my Kelbly atlas. I think I'm going to go and grab 500 of the starline 5.56 and see what happens. I can get 500 for about the price of 200 Lapua.

If it doesn't workout I can come on here and get robbed by someone for $150 a box.

Is the average Starline case volume similar to Lapua? Assuming you are using heavies at that distance so case volume may be a factor?
I don't have any experience with Lapua directly, but here is my measurements compared to LC. I run 25.2gr of ReLoder 15.5 with Sierra 90's which is pretty compressed.
