Ladder testing while FF

Will be FF 6mm to 6mm AI and want to know if ladder testing while FF will yeild any usable results. Long range varmint gun, 26" mag. contour, 1/10 twist, .272nk, so hopefully the 87 V-Max will be my go to bullet, followed by the 75 V-Max.

Once FF I will start with VV160 and see what that will do.

To anyone responding, thank you.

If your talking of an Audette ladder heres my opinion FWIW.

I'd load whatever variations of pills, powder, seating depths, etc You can with whatever amount of brass your fireforming. Shoot em all. If one stands out as a winner during fireforming odds are it will be a winner after fireforming.
Obviously there'll be another ladder to shoot and tweaking but you'll know where to start.

Just be aware of brass fired in the bottom of the ladders. If they don't form well the first go round you'll need to blow em out hard before you get repeatable results.
There are those who subscribe to the theory that brass not fully fireformed from the first shot is forever faulty. No scientific opinion on that myself. Good Luck.
