Been eyeing up 87" flat screen with all the bells and whistle. for under 2k. Might hold out for the 101" 8k.

If you've ever experienced Garmin Livescope, if this is anything like it, they'll add features and updates all the time. Upgrade using Garmin Express or within the app.

Yes, you are correct however the hardware and embedded software does slow things down over time.
