Labradar

Where is this "shot quality" indicator?

On the left side of the screen, there is a bar graph as each shot is recorded, it sort of looks like a signal meter on a phone. I don't know if it's officially called a "shot quality indicator", but it gives you an indication as to whether your labradar might pointed off a little. usually it's a pretty minor adjustment.

I bought one these brackets and used it for the first time today. Before I continue, let me say that if you can use your LabRadar and catch every shot, excellent! It didn't always work that way for me and my 73 year old eyes. I have been using the LabRadar for over a year and I have improved my ability to catch all the shots but still miss one or two from time to time.

Today I tested loads in my 204 Ruger which is a pretty tough test. I missed no shots and compared to previous groups in the 204, I increased the distance the unit would track the bullets and markedly improved the Signal to Noise ratio as recorded in thr TRK files so this is a worthwhile addition for me. YRMV!
BikeEffects, just curious what bullets you used. Have heard the LR does better picking up flatbase vs boattail in the small cals. Also what velocity maybe over 4000fps?

40 grain Hornady Boat Tail at 3600 fps or so. The LabRadar won't work at 4000 fps. I found it won't play at 3900 fps. I don't remember exactly. I believe it is a clock speed limitation but I may be wrong.
