The Labradar warranty is only 1 year. They have been out there long enough for some users to be past the warranty period. Has anyone had failures that required service? How did Labaradar do with warranty claims? For any with expired warranties, what were the charges like?
The display is one of the concerns that I have for longevity, I have an Oehler 35P that I purchased in 1988. Oehler has been outstanding with their service and response time. The inconvenience of setup and unreliability of the skyscreens in various light conditions causes me to not use my Oehler when I would really like to collecting data.
Hopefully at the price point of the Labradar, they are using best quality electronics components so the service life will extend far beyond the warranty period.
Does anyone have experience with Labradar repairs or are they just not having any failures?
