Labradar/SD Card

I fired up my Labradar without an SD card. It worked fine, and I set up the app and connected by Bluetooth, no problems yet. As I read, the SD Card alows you to move data to a computer. Maybe you could do that with a phone that has an SD Card reader hooked up. If you are running the App, do you really need the SD Card to move data? Wouldn't the app on a phone allow you to view the data?

The unit will record the data on the SD card in a CSV file format. The app will not.
Grab an SD card to move the files in and out, not to mention that is how you install software version updates.

I replaced my SD card because I was getting errors. After a few sessions, started getting errors again. I leave the card out now and it works fine. Record one session of shooting and write it in my loading book.

I think there was only one update issued.

I have heard that maybe the SD card slot can go bad after repeated use. I a going to plug a sacrificial extender into the slot. It has a plug like an SD card to which a flat cacle and SD card socket are affixed. They are about 8 or 9 dollars.
