I use mine for air guns by switching trigger to doppler and use handgun velocities.

i used to doppler mode but it won't give the correct velocity for my air rifle! i have check that with walther lg400 (175 m/s)(4.5 mm)
Here is a picture of my Labradar setup in front of my ProChrono both recording the same velocity . The Labradar is in handgun mode and using Doppler for a trigger. Why are you not trusting the numbers you are seeing. I converted 175m/s which you are getting with your Walter to 574 f.p.s. Your Walter lg 400 is rated for 558 FPS so the numbers are not that far apart. Pellet weight or different settings could easily account for a 16 f.p.s. difference.

thank you so much for your kind reply.i have checked many shots with labradar and the differences is about 10-15 m\s which is not correct for lg400!!i have also checked with combro mk4 and it shows the tolerance of 5m/s!
is your air rifle 4.5 mm?
are you putting the barrel in front of labradar like the picture?

The rifle in the top picture is a 25 cal (6.35mm). I ran the same test with both a .177 cal (4.5mm) air rifle and air pistol. The pistol showed 1 f.p.s. slower on the labradar. The rifle at about 650 f.p.s. Was 5 f.p.s. slower on the Labradar. I also tried switching the Labradar to rifle velocities and did not get a reading.

Pretty sure the airgun trigger is just a microphone (Labradar claims it has "special circuitry".) Might be worth experimenting a bit if you can't get it to trigger any other way.

The microphone will only enable the labradar to pick up the pellet, it won't increase the accuracy of the unit.

The issues is you are not believing your labradar or it is wrong. On Doppler you have evidence above that it works with 4.5mm pellets just fine. It could be your other chronograph that is wrong and not labradar.

Or you air rifle is just giving you a big difference in speeds shit to shot.

i pretty sure about my rifle and combro mk4! might it because of testing in 10m shooting range?
i have not check that in open area!maybe the misreading is because of that.do you have any idea?
