L3I Lyman Case Trim Express 3 way cutter?

Has anyone tried this 3 way cutter for their lyman case trim express? Im thinking of trying one, but I can't find much info. Be nice for 223 since I prep it in batches of 250 or 500!

On looking at its design and how it cuts, I don't like that it actually chamfers the outside and just deburr the inside. It should be the other way around.

I guess i see what you mean, but is me doing each case by hand on the prep center better? I count to 2 for the inside and outside. That is the ultimate in precision, obviously...

I do not use this style of 3 way trimming and the only one I know of that style I'm sure of doing a good job is the RCBS 3-way cutter.

I'd try it. As to the question of inside chamfering, judging from their pics, it's OK, and I'd bet if you talk to them, you may be able to get get different angle blades for it. They do appear to be adjustable anyway, appear to be setup much like others that use removeable pilots. Look at an RCBS or a Forster, they both have some adjustment, appears this does too. Henderson Precision uses a Forster, seen vids on adjusting cutters on them around, same with RCBS. I suspect you'll like it.

I agree with what you're saying. It appears to be fully adjustable. You can switch it around any way you'd like. I think the picture of the finished case on their website is misleading.

I received one in .22 but have not tried it yet. In looking at it, I can use it with other pilots by just adjusting the blade. Getting the cutter on/off (to change pilots as an example) is a matter of turning the adjustment wheel on the cutter all the way out. For p-doggin', I think it'll be worth it.
