KUDOS to the USPS

I'm in Phoenix and they like to route everything through Albuquerque now. I first noticed it while tracking a couple of orders several months ago where Albuquerque wasn't necessarily on the way to Phoenix. Then I ordered die from Bruno's a couple months ago. Shipping was only $4 so I had it shipped instead of driving the 10 miles to get it and dealing with the COVID rules. USPS sent it to Albuquerque and back. Took a week to get here. Meanwhile, my order placed the same day that shipped via FedEx from Missouri showed up in 3 days. I sent something to Tucson. Yup - to Albuquerque and back again a week later. That's the geniuses at USPS for ya.

There's over 5x the people in Phoenix compared to Albuquerque. Can't imagine it makes much sense to send everything in Phoenix to Albuquerque.

Had good luck with usps this year until 3 weeks ago.

in that time they lost a rifle an hr from my house, delivered a scope I sold to the wrong address, and another scope is stuck in never land going from the buyers post office back to the distribution center like it’s on a lazy river.

their customer service is nonexistent once they lose your stuff
