Kudos to Bat Machine

Recently I acquired a used Bat 3L action with a PPC boltface. I emailed Bat to see how much they would charge to open it up to a .308/BR boltface. Bruce replied to my email and said they would charge $125 unless more work had to be done for it to extract or eject properly. I immediately replied that the bolt was on the way and the price was fine.

Bat contacted me a couple of weeks later that it was ready to go and that they had replaced the roller cocking piece with a new one.
They charged me $12.50 for labor and didn't charge me for the cocking piece...(which cost around $50 normally).
A couple of days later the bolt arrived and looked like a new one!

To say that I was happy with their service would be an understatement!

Sounds like you were treated well.

I bought a used BR rifle that had a DS action glued in. The firing pin assembly had some rubbing going on inside the bolt body. They gladly sold me all the pieces to update the firing pin assembly. Works fine now.

BAT is awesome! Spoke with Daryle (spelled correctly) and I had sold a new BAT DS with the ppc bolt face and needed it opened up to BR, since it was new he exchanged it for no charge! This was a drop port and if he opened it up it may not work correctly so that is the reason for the exchange! Great company!
