I order parts for work and have them delivered to my house and they are shipped FED-x overnight. Our Dog Java loves the Fed-X driver. Dog bone is sitting on top of the box on the front porch!

In my area Fedex has been the worst. They use sub contractors with lazy employees that don't give a rat's bootie for the packages and don't care it got delivered or not.

Same here, Phideoux loves the FedEx lady, she always has a handful of small Milky Bones for her.

Even during the Holidays, FedEx here was super fast - nearly always earlier than expected.
Much better than a few years ago. Twice, I witnessed the old FedEx driver circle my driveway and toss the package towards the house.

FedEx (the corporation) owns the name, the sorting facilities and the software. They lease the jets, pilots and maintenance.

Routes are let to bid by folks who want to own that route. They, the route owners, are then responsible for hiring, firing and training their own employees. They even have to buy the trucks and maintain them. They cannot raise the prices. It's like a franchise.

So mass condemnation of FedEx as a corporation should fall on deaf ears since it's the route owner who is in charge of scheduling that route and paying the drivers. Look at the lower door panel on the driver's door or just behind the driver's door for the name, address and phone number of the route owner.

Get to know your driver and route owner.

In my area, FedEx uses the biggest of all hammers while shipping. UPS has the 2nd biggest hammers and USPS does a pretty dang good job around here. FedEx can destroy an anvil with a feather!!!!!

Crazy - ordered from OR afternoon yesterday and FedEx just delivered in Southwest MO (rural).
Less than 24 hours. Went OR to Memphis to Springfield to here. And, it was free shipping from the seller for whatever that is worth. $26 order.

Not for me. Order and a day late plus they claimed it was delivered to our door. We were home all day with a door camera. No such delivery happened. Called them and got no response, other then call the shipper and tell them it's lost. Fed X sucks.

FedEx over the rest of em, They have always been good to me and i have been constantly using them over USPS and UPS. And their customer care service is good too.
