Just wanted to give them an AAA+++
Had a barrel close to what I wanted in stock but wanted a slightly different contour.
Called them and he said they would change the contour within reason for NO cost.
I had to order it online and put in what changes I wanted.
In 30 minutes guy called just to make sure they had the right info and wanted to
put on the ticket the right way to make it happen. Should have it in a little over a month.
My month time line is cause of the change to the contour.
Said it would add a week or two.

That's good to hear. Sounds like their production is all caught up. . . or things are really slow now. My last barrel I got from them took almost a year to get.

I went to order one Monday on the website and it said 4 month lead time, I didn’t believe it so I called and sure enough it was correct.

I ordered a custom barrel from them one time and it was 6 months wait initially
A couple months later they contacted me and said they had a barrel in stock that was only .005"
difference in diameter than what I wanted and wanted to know if that was acceptable
something like .895" intead of .900 at the muzzle
so the wait would be 3 months instead of 6 if I said yes

Krieger is the "best of the best" in my opinion. For me personally, they are the first call I make for a great barrel and their customer service is second to none. That's all.

Agreed,
I will say I like Bartlein too,
but the only Bartlein I've used was because I wanted to try a carbon wrapped barrel
and did not wish to gamble on the different makers and the 50/50 chances I've read of Proof
So got a Bartlein Carbon Wrapped - was not disappointed
and even more, when I chucked it up, it was the straightest barrel I'd ever seen
I mean all my Kriegers have been less than .010" if chucked at the tenon and indicated 30" away.
But the Bartlein's O.D. was concentric to the bore to within 0.0003" (On a Carbon Wrap barrel!!!)

I too had a barrel recontoured in order to receive it faster. Most importantly, it shoots great.
Thumbs up to Krieger's service and quality.
