just had the UPS guy drop off my new krieger MTU taper, .236 bore, 1-8" twist, 5R barrel. nice barrel!! the bore is very nice. hopefully next week i can drive down to the gunsmith--Jim Carstensen--and get it put on my stiller predator single shot short action. gonna go with 6BR with .110-.115 FB with a nice and gentle angle to the leade. can't wait!!! this rifle is going to be great!! mcree's precision stock, jewell trigger, seekins 40moa rail, haven't decided on which brand of scope rings yet, and USO scope. should be a shooter!!

I have a couple Krieger blanks, Cole. No deployment decision yet, so they sit in the reloading room closet. They are an 8" x 29.25" .224 and a 8" x 27.25" .243, both HV contours and the bores are also fine. Hard to go wrong with a Krieger.
I recently sent a Brux 9" x 31" .284 MTU and a Bartlein 10" x 33" .308 MTU to Jim Borden for fitting to a long, repeater tube gun action with CG trigger. They will be chambered in .284 Win and .308 Win, respectively. Gary Eliseo is shipping a RTM chassis to me in about 6 weeks. The action is also 6-8 weeks out. When all of it comes together, I will have a switch-barrel gun suitable for shooting F/TR, F Open and prone Highpower. The gun will definitely be competitive, I don't know about the shooter.
