I'm not sure how many of you might care about this, but if you like skinny Krieger stainless barrels in contours that they only offer in 410 stainless, you better act now. They're not going to offer it after Jan. 1.
I think it would be fair to paraphrase their reasons by just saying that they decided it just wasn't worth the effort of trying to maintain their standards on such a difficult to machine grade of steel.
I ordered three of them. It always makes me feel a little bit better if I can make a cheesehead's life just a little more difficult.
If I didn't have so many projects going, I'd 'a made it six.
