KRG Bravo or Oryx Chassis

KRG Bravo or Oryx Chassis

I'm putting a rifle together and need a stock/chassis. I would like to purchase one of these two for the time being until I can find another MPA chassis. I will buy new or used and probably will keep it for another project. I'm partial to the MPA, shooting 3 rifles now with them. Any information on either one would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Don Dunlap

Don I have the Bravo and a X-Ray with Tikka T3 Actions in 308 and 6.5. I really like the KRG product line.
Mine shoot phenominal...why I got the another one and It was just as good.
I know you have experience with the MPA and im told they are pretty darn nice as well. So im
thinkin you really cant go wrong with either one.

The thing that appeals to me about the KRG line, particularly the Bravo, is how modular they are... and how many accessories you can get for them. I sat down once and penciled out how much a Bravo with every bell n whistle I wanted would end up costing... it wasn't that far behind an MPA or ACC. Then again it was pretty much exactly what *I* wanted.

The thing that doesn't appeal to me about the Bravo is the feel of the grip, cheek piece and buttstock. It reminds me of the old Savage 'tupperware' stocks from 15 years ago or so. I realize there is a world of difference in the construction between the two, but that's what they remind me of.

Don, I've been shooting a MPA chassis for 3 or more years and really like it.
I've had a KRG Bravo for about a year now.
Even though the Bravo doesn't have as many adjustments, I find myself liking it very much.
It's a lot lighter and it's shoots just as small.
For the price, you won't be disappointed.
If I needed another chassis, I'd probably go with another Bravo and use the extra money
on glass or for another future barrel.

Thanks for the replies fellas. Mid last year I purchased a rifle on here from estes640. It was a 6br in a KRG Bravo Chassis, Origin action. I like it a lot. It came with one of the more expensive Arca rails, which one of the 3 MPA Chasis's I have have the rat rail. They are definitely a nice addition to a PRS rifle. I have a Nucleus action coming. Well after some research and post from you all I will purchase in the next day or two a KRG Bravo with the longer arca rail for it. The Oryx just doesn't appeal to me, maybe for F Class shooting, but not PRS.

Thanks,
Don Dunlap

I know this is late, but I have an Oryx on a Rem 700, .223. It fits perfectly and very well made. If you get an Oryx, order the extra spacers for the butt plate. The chassis isn’t really designed with a bag rider. There isn’t much room for a rear bag without the spacers.
