Just finished up building my Bravo for an upcoming 308 build. The KRG Bravo is a perfect fit for me on both the bench and prone, so I have a few of them and wanted to build a special one for this next rifle I'm building.
I started with a Vision fore end in black then Duracoated in Sako green. After holding it up to another Sako green bravo, I noticed it was a bit darker, so to make it look good, the butt stock needed to be green painted in black, so I started getting the parts and pieces ordered.
I saw KRG had their backbone on sale as a blem, and couldn't get a whole lot of info about them, as many places on the KRG website say they don't sell all the parts needed to make a chassis from scratch. If they don't have blem backbones, I can understand that, but if they do, you're good to go.
I taped off the grip panels just to look better, went with an adjustable trigger guard and recoil pad. Happy with it so far, next up will be adding weight. I've asked a friend with a 3d printer to print up some trays that I'll just need to epoxy some black BBs into and it should be good to go.
